Would you please buy me a cup of coffee?
I know it's a strange request, but we all do it every day, in Starbucks, Costa, Office, Cafe, or in our local coffee shop, and we don't think much of it we queue up, buy a coffee or buy two if we're with someone.
Some of you know me well, some of you not so ,much, but I'd like to think you'd buy me a cup of coffee? (or skip one today?)
No, how about if I said I was homeless, and didn't have a kettle this morning to make a hot drink on a cold day? Still won't buy me a coffee?
To reassure you, I'm not after a coffee, and I'm not homeless, but I am after the price of a cup of coffee.
In my local coffee shop, it's about £3, but I'm happy if it's cheaper or more expensive in yours!
I'm taking part in this years Vertical Rush raising funds for Shelter on Tuesday 5th March 2013. It's partly for my company (however they are sponsoring me with the time off I'm also leading a team to do the same)
Vertical Rush is the original and ultimate tower running challenge, with participants racing up 920 steps to the top of Tower 42 – one of London's tallest and most iconic buildings! We would be so grateful if you spare price of that coffee (sponsor me please) using the link below:

Please help us raise funds for this valuable charity's work. Shelter believes that everyone should have a home, they help people find and keep a home and they also campaign for decent housing for all. Shelter is needed today more than ever:
Over 57,000 children are homeless in London
Every two minutes in the UK someone faces losing their home
1 in 115 households is at risk of homelessness
PS If you want to go old school sponsoring and do a penny a step, or a pound a floor, that's fine too!
Many thanks in advance for your coffee! Rest assured this is the first time for a long while I've asked for sponsorship, It will be quite a while to the next one, so don't worry, not a regular thing!
